中國減貧與發展經驗國際分享系列旨在講好中國減貧故事，向國際社會分享中國減貧經驗，為廣大發展中國家實現減貧與發展提供切實可行的經驗。該系列聚焦中國精準扶貧、脫貧攻堅和鞏固拓展脫貧攻堅成果的經驗做法，基於國際視角梳理形成中國減貧經驗分享的知識產品。本書是《中國生態扶貧政策與實踐》的英文版。生態扶貧是精準扶貧方略的重要組成部分，實現了經濟發展與生態保護的平衡，物質生產力與自然生產力的統一，人口、經濟、社會、生態、環境間的協調、可持續發展。本書系統介紹了中國的生態扶貧政策，從內涵、解決的主要問題、適用範圍、實施過程、實施效果及注意事項、典型案例六個方面對貧困地區生態保護、小流域綜合治理、農村人居環境整治、農村地區生態資源開發利用、提供生態保護開發崗位、生態補償、生態搬遷等生態扶貧政策進行了詳細的介紹，以期為其他國家提供生態扶貧的「中國方案」。
