2013年北京市教委為實現資源共享和優勢互補，提升區域人才整體水平，啟動十個專業群建設，北京郵電大學與北方工業大學牽頭電子信息類專業群建設項目，十年協同首都十三所高校開展了多項教學創新建設，獲得北京市教學成果一等獎。2021年8月申請，以北京高校電子信息專業群八年建設工作為基礎，聯動全國31所院校高校，申報，教育部電子信息類專業虛擬教研室，2022年9月獲批，獲批教育部電子信息類專業虛擬教研室，吸引全國90所成員高校參與，形成互助互進的發展態勢。為更好地總結教育數字化轉型大背景下，相關院校電子信息類專業教育教學與學生實踐經驗，薈萃最新的教學創新與改革成果，發現一線教學實踐中痛點問題，北京高校電子信息類專業群＆教育部電子信息類專業虛擬教研室聯合出版全國院校高等教育教學研究論文集。
本論文集作者為電子信息類專業群及教育部電子信息類專業虛擬教研室成員高校熱心教學改革一線教師，專題內容有專業建設、課程教學、實驗實踐、課程思政、產教融合及數字賦能等。
