「一帶一路」大使訪談系國內全媒體中英雙語深度訪談和國際合作項目，已深度對話超百位外國駐華大使和政要，旨在深化中外互聯互通合作，為共商共建共享發展機遇搭建高端交流平台。
本書基於「一帶一路」大使訪談過去七年的積累和影響力，收錄與16位各國駐華大使、部分國家領導人和國際組織高級官員的對話，用栩栩如生、深入淺出的對話方式生動展現他國眼中的中國智慧、中國模式和中國方案。
本書以中國式現代化的五大特徵為主題主線，通過受訪者的觀察和觀點闡述各國在該議題下與中國的合作、實踐成果以及對未來的展望，展現外國大使政要眼中的中國式現代化的發展成就和國際貢獻，以更廣闊多元的視角解讀中國式現代化的中國特色和世界意義。
本書為「各國大使眼中的中國」系列之一，是作者繼《各國大使眼中的「一帶一路」》后編寫的一部新作，有助於國內外讀者進一步了解中國式現代化的發展模式和實踐經驗，可為國情相近或處於相似發展階段的其他國家提供借鑒。該系列圖書持續跟進大使訪談項目，以促進國際交流合作，推動中華文化更好走向世界。

孫超（Sun Chao），「一帶一路」大使訪談總策劃，對話超百位政要、大使；財新全球青年領袖；國務院發展研究中心主管《中國經濟報告》創始主編；民建北京聯絡委副主任；深圳大學、中國人民大學商學院及北京交通大學語言與傳播學院客座教授和導師；曾在聯合國紐約總部、國際貨幣基金組織、新加坡南洋理工大學、清華大學及哈佛大學肯尼迪學院等機構學習工作。前作《各國大使眼中的「一帶一路」》曾獲得多項榮譽，如入選2020經典中國國際出版工程、2022絲路書香工程、2022「一帶一路」出版合作典型案例、2020北京市提升出版業國際傳播能力獎勵扶持項目等，其英文版、義大利文版、葡萄牙文版、亞美尼亞文版已陸續在全球出版發行。
