「海濡匯」國際訪問學者項目的結業要求之一,是訪問學者基於訪學經驗和自己在本國、本機構的經驗,圍繞質量監控、資源建設、師資建設、學生支持服務、終身學習和信息化在教學中的應用等主題撰寫一份研究報告。雖然歷屆訪問學者們所撰寫的研究報告主要基於各自的教學和研究經驗,僅代表個人的經驗、視野和觀點,而且在行文質量上也存在差異,但總體而言,這些文章都能夠用國際比較的視角來反映和闡釋遠程開放教育在實踐和發展過程中所面臨的挑戰和機遇,這為我們更好地在一個開闊的視域中理解開放教育提供了很好的參考。正是出於這一考慮,我們從中選擇一部分論文結集出版,希望能為從事遠程開放教育的同仁們提供參考和借鑒。
全書分為上、下兩冊,包括17個章節,共收錄來自34個國家的68位訪問學者的62篇論文。「海濡匯」海外訪問學者撰寫研究報告的語言為英語。
