西奧·克里斯(Theo-chris)先生出生於多語種家庭，從小就展現出過人的外語學習能力，7歲時便開始輔導同齡人英語閱讀和寫作，其深厚的寫作功底備受讚譽。西奧中學時期對經濟學產生了濃厚的興趣，隨後進入南非斯泰倫博斯大學(univeisity of Stellenbosch)攻讀數學和商業管理學位，畢業后在母校經濟研究所擔任經濟學研究員。幾年後，在內心的感召下，西奧先生繼續在開普半島理工大學(Cape Peninsula university ofTechnology)攻讀教育學，正如其本人所言：「教育是對抗貧困的唯一武器。」在獲得教育學碩士學位后，西奧獲聘博蘭學院(Boland College)學科負責人，並在開普敦學院(College of Cape Town)擔任首席講師，承擔了大量的教學和教材研發工作。2014年，西奧赴科威特牛津中學任信息技術部主任。西奧于2015年來華，在南京理工大學教授大學英語，同時在環球雅思培訓中心負責雅思(IELTS)與托福(TOEFL)口語教學工作至今。在中國的教學經歷讓西奧意識到系統性和邏輯性在英語教學中的重要性，在此理念指導下，他開發出一套循序漸進且邏輯嚴密的教學方法開展口語教學，充分發揮中國學員的優勢，讓無數考生在雅思及托福考試中取得理想分數。
