蘇彥捷，北京大學心理學系教授、博士生導師，並任北京大學元培學院副院長。教育部心理學教學指導委員會秘書長、中國心理學會常務理事、北京心理學會副理事長兼秘書長。主要講授發展心理學、神經解剖、比較心理學和環境心理學等本科生課程以及發展心理學專題和比較心理學專題等研究生課程。研究興趣主要集中在心理能力的演化和發展，特別是心理理論的發生和發展以及社會行為和智力的演化上。先後主持國家自然科學基金項目和北京市自然科學基金項目、教育科學規劃教育部重點項目、教育部人文社會科學規劃項目等。已經在包括《發展心理學》（Developmental Psychology）、《國際行為發展雜誌》（International Journal of Behaver Development）、《性別角色》（Sex Roles）、《美國靈長類學雜誌》（American Journal of Primatology）以及《心理學報》《心理科學》和《心理髮展與教育》等中外學術期刊上發表論文200余篇，並主編（譯）和參與編寫（譯）了多本發展心理學和生物心理學等心理學教材和著作。曾獲「北京市優秀青年教師」「寶鋼教育基金會優秀教師」稱號和北京大學教學成果獎等。
