本書是新一代主題大學英語系列教材《綜合教程》配套的教師用書。本書的編寫以《大學英語教學指南》為指導,遵循外語學習循序漸進的原則和「以人為本」的教學理念,全面體現我國大學英語教學的新標準、新要求,注重教學理念的創新及教學活動的設計的靈活和充實,以新時期人才培養需求為參照,以新的教學要求為指導,融合現代語言學與英語教學的知識與理論,為教師提供開放式、多角度、多元化的教學指導與選擇,在提升教學效果的同時也為教師的自我提升與職業發展提供幫助。
