    本書主要介紹了幹細胞與再生醫學的相關研究進展,包括幹細胞的基礎研究與衍生研究,及其在不同生理和病理水平中的治療作用。第一章主要介紹了幹細胞的類型、來源、應用和目前面臨的挑戰。第二章以胚胎幹細胞、間充質幹細胞、誘導多能幹細胞和成體神經幹細胞為例,介紹了幹細胞的分離與鑒定策略及實驗方法。第三章則聚焦于幹細胞與人類疾病問的密切聯繫,闡述了目前于細胞在神經系統疾病、心臟疾病、糖尿病、骨關節炎和傷口愈合等方面的治療策略與研究進展。第四章介紹了幹細胞微環境,以及再生醫學中通過靶向幹細胞微環境來治療疾病的組織工程。第五章討論了腫瘤幹細胞學說,介紹了腫瘤幹細胞的基本概念與特性、耐葯機制、微環境及目前研究中遇到的挑戰。第六章與第七章介紹了藥物和疾病的新型研究平台與工具——類器官,闡述了其在癌症醫學、精準醫學、再生醫學、藥物開發(篩選和毒理學)、疾病模型和基礎研究中的研究進展與應用,理性探討其局限性;同時介紹了類器官的不同類型,著重介紹了患者來源的人類肝癌類器官的研究進展。第八章介紹了近年來研究熱度極高的細胞外囊泡,作為幹細胞治療的潛在替代品,我們對這種可作為診斷、預后和治療性工具的生物標記物的發生、分類、組成、功能與應用等研究的進展進行了總結。第九章介紹了目前生命科學領域中作為新型生物技術療法的基因治療及有望顯著提高基因治療的持久性與安全性的基因編輯技術,以期為疾病治療策略提供更多新的思路。
