李琴，professor of the School of Translation Studies，Xi』an International Studies University．She received her Ph．D in Comparative Literature from Lanzhou University，and was a visiting scholar at the Faculty of English，University of Cambridge in 20 1 0—20 1 1．Her areas of expertise are translation theories and practices，and comparative literature．She has many publications and served as the lead researcher in a number of funded research projects，including those granted by the National Social Science Fund of China，and the Scientific Research Start—up Fund for Returned Overseas Scholars of the Ministry of Education of China．
